Pr. Nasser Jamalkhan

Researcher in Environmental Management Practices



Nasser is a field researcher and senior lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire in the UK. He is also a visiting fellow at major universities in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Malaysia, Finland, Sweden, Canada and the USA. Nasser is a reviewer and member of the program committee for International Conference on ICT for Sustainability (ICT4S) among a few others in the EMEA. Being fluent in English and French and a key strategist in his areas of knowledge, Nasser has been a keynote speaker in many international conferences such as the World Commonwealth Business Council, the Kuwait Oil Contracting and Risk Management, IT for Organizations Development (IT4OD) in Morocco, Global Ethics in Austria, Environmental Management Systems in Spain, Knowledge Management System in UK, Pattern Analysis and Intelligent Systems (PAIS) in Algeria and the Middle East Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Conference. His interests are in further research on Knowledge Management, Greening of the IT infrastructure, Information Systems and the Environmental Management Practices in the service sector. His exposure has been both in the academia and the industries from Seoul in Far East to San Francisco in the Far West, has provided him a wealth of knowledge for the past 20 years. As well as being a Fellow of the Global Marketing Network(GMN), Nasser is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy(HEA). He was first graduated in Computer Science and then completed an MBA with Specialisation in E-commerce with a distinction. He was offered a scholarship and bursary to pursue his doctoral studies on Environmental Management Systems and Practices. He is very active in research on the environmental issues facing the IT and IS industries. Throughout his career, he has contributed in the areas of global management, outsourcing and corporate governance. As a former system engineer for Digital Equipment Corporation computer systems and a professional consultant, he had the opportunities to work for multinationals and in matrix organisations with global teams and gaining knowledge of the international cultures and their business ethics. He designs and implements professional development programmes with focus on the learner is improved experience in an international context. From his previous contributions as a CIO, Nasser became one of the first Certified Outsourcing Professionals in the USA in 2005 and is a Professional member of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals in New York. He is one of the few certified professional coach for managing matrix organisations resources and strategies in the EMEA for the IAOP certifications. .

Ahmed Lakhssassi received the B.Ing. and M.Sc.A in electrical engineering from Université du Québec (UQTR), Québec, Canada in 1988 and 1990 respectively. He also received the Ph.D. in Energy and Material sciences in 1995 from INRS-Energie et Materiaux Montréal, Québec, Canada. A year also, he had become a professor of Electro-thermo-mechanical aspects at NSERC -Hydro-Quebec Industrial Research Chair at Electrical Engineering Department of the UQTR. Since 1998, he has been with UQO (Université du Québec en Outaouais), where he is currently titular professor and responsible of the LIMA laboratory LIMA (Advanced Microsystem Engineering Laboratory) developing algorithms for Microsystems thermo-mechanical monitoring and associated distributed sensors network. His research interest is the fields of automatic IP porting tools between different technology nodes and LAIC systems thermo-mechanical prediction unit and monitoring methods to sustain transient thermo-mechanical stress peaks reliability. He is the author/co-author of more than 150 scientific publications and research report, and thesis advisor of 60 graduate and undergraduate students who completed their studies. .

Pr. Yassine RUICHEK

Yassine RUICHEK received his PhD degree in control and computer engineering, and Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) degree in physic science from the University of Lille (France) in 1997 and 2005, respectively. He was an assistant researcher and teacher from 1998 to 2001. From 2001 to 2007, he was an associate professor at the University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard (France). Since 2007, he is a full Professor at UTBM, with the Institute of Research on Transport, Energy and Society (IRTES). He is responsible of EPAN research team working on environment perception and autonomous navigation using multi-sensor fusion. His research interests include computer vision, image processing and analysis, pattern recognition, data fusion, localization, with applications in intelligent transportation systems and video surveillance. He was involved in many Regional, National and European projects in advanced transportation systems (PCRD Prometheus, PREDIT Statue, ANR PANsafer, PREDIT CAPLOC, RFC VMS, CPER IVT, etc.), where he coordinated some of them. Yassine RUICHEK headed the Systems and Transportation laboratory from 2012 to 2015, and the Computer Science department from 2006 to 2008. He is author/co-author of more than 130 papers, publishedas chapters in books, articles in journals or papers presented in conferences. .

Ahmed Boutejdar received the B.Sc. and Diplom-Ing degrees in electrical engineering from Magdeburg University, Magdeburg, Germany in 2002 and 2004 respectively. He also received the Ph.D. degree in communication and microwave engineering in 2009 from Otto-von-Guericke university, Magdeburg, Germany. His research interests include the design and analysis of microstrip filters and microstrip antennas. Dr. Boutejdar has authored over 155 papers in international journals and proceedings of international and national symposia and a book chapter in "Ultra-Wideband, Short Pulse Electromagnetics 9" Springer 2010", and these papers have been cited by other researchers more than 580 times(Scopus: h index 12) and 953 times (Google Scholar: h-index 15). Some papers are citet as references in three famous filter books: "Mirostrip and Printed Antennas: New Trends, Techniques an Applications (2011)", "Microstrip Filters for RF/ Microwave Applications, 2nd Edition (2011)" and "Issues in Optics, Light, Laser, Infrared, and Photonic Technology: 2011 Edition". Pr. Gilles DESPAUX - Head of the Electronical Department: Pr. Despaux graduated from a School of Engineers in Robotics in 1990. He received his Ph. D. in -Electrical Engineering- in 1993 from the University of Montpellier 2 where he was Assistant Professor until 2006. Professor Gilles Despaux is head of the Electrical Engineering Department and is currently director of the master's degree in Electrical Engineering. His research area concerns material characterization and imaging by Acoustic Microscopy that he first studied in Stanford University during his Master Degree Training and Tohoku university in Japan during his Ph.D. Gilles Despaux is a member of the French Society of Acoustics, a IEEEmember and has been in the scientific board of numerous teaching and research national and international conferences.He is the author/co-author of more than 200 scientific publications and research report. .
